An act of kindness is by far the most rewarding experience that we as human beings can bestow on one another. I have been smitten by the influence of these random acts, these simple exploits of compassion and generosity.
Randomly discovered and then being transformed by the influence, the undeniable quest of caring was taking control and now leads me along a new path giving more, not less.
“Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.” ~ Henry James
To give with no intentions, with no desire for a return on your investment of time or of yourself freely will attract a scrutiny of a disguised ambition, but these threats are typically from those unwilling or unable to share. Being declared a chicanery or a disguised ambition fades quickly as acceptance of kindness is a forgiveness bestowed from not holding back our hearts desires.
For those who seek such a connection, there are resources for information and there are unlimited opportunities to volunteer.

Knowing that everything can always be made better, that regardless of the situation, the outlook or the prediction for a bright future, the power of kindness overrides our concerns. It is in the joy of giving that we are removed for a moment, free from our personal battles as we put other’s needs first.
To pursue a better understanding of what we are capable of giving, the opportunity to share and assist through the power of the internet, we can change our behaviors, enact beneficial habits and work towards becoming “experts in kindness.”
“Love is something more stern and splendid than mere kindness.” ~ C.S. Lewis
The significance of generating random acts of kindness with no regard for acknowledgement is accomplished with something as simple as a random phone call, or a greeting card that conveying you are being thought of compassionately.
As givers we are unable to presume that a hello or note of concern is unwanted or welcomed, it is knowing that it is indeed our privilege to reach out when the feeling arises.
The bliss associated with kindness is felt most sincerely with the allowance to follow an irresistible impulse, seen as a gift, an opportunity to express something within us that can be achieved in no other way. The random act of kindness is truly addicting, once we have accepted through declaration that our concern for others lives within us all.
“Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love.” ~ Rainer Maria Rilke (Letters to a Young Poet)
The favorable reception of our powers to practice kindness is only the first step, for within our essence we will truly be confronted with a feeling of helplessness. The act of giving of ourselves unconditionally will offer a happy vulnerability…
You should try it!
